Preparing for the Reception of the Sacraments

Picture
As a christian wanting to come ever closer to the living God, i.e. the Holy Trinity, and to Jesus Christ in particular, we must always seek to utilize those methods Jesus Himself gave us.  The seven sacraments are the most efficacious way to obtain grace and grow closer to God, and they were all directly or inderctly established by Christ Himself.  The seven sacraments are:

                           Baptism                                        Confession (Reconciliation)
                           Marriage                                       Holy Orders
                           Eucharist                                      Confirmation
Sacrament of the Sick (previously called Extreme Unction)

If you are in need of one of these sacraments, or if you want to learn more about becoming Catholic, visit our Sacramental Preparation page to learn more.

Continuing Religious Education: To Daily Grow Closer to Christ

Picture
We must always strive to improve our knowledge and understanding of God.  Holy Family strives to help you do this by offering religious education classes for adults and children as well as offering bible studies several times a week.  The three ways we have of learning about God's revelation to man are Holy Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and the Magisterium.  To learn more about religious education classes at Holy Family visit our Continuing Religious Education page.   For more information contact RE@HFseattle.org
